Extremely powerful, Techniseal® Stripper for Concrete and Masonry dissolves1 coatings on vertical or horizontal surfaces made of concrete, brick or roughcast, such as fl oors, steps, walls, facades, etc. Rather than lifting the fi lm as regular strippers do, it dissolves it so it can be easily removed with a water jet, and this, without scraping. Techniseal® Stripper for Concrete and Masonry is ideal for baring surfaces prior to the application of a Techniseal® Protective product or any other coating.¹

¹Does not dissolve 100% acrylic paints and other coatings.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

ALWAYS TEST on a small hidden area to ensure that result meets your expectations.

IMPORTANT: Ideally, temperature should be between 60 and 90°F; do not apply under blazing sun. Wear appropriate protective clothing (gloves, goggles, mask, etc.). Depending on the thickness and age of the coating to strip, dissolution time may vary from 1 to 12 hours. If dissolution time is found to be long, it is recommended to apply the Stripper in the evening to let it work overnight. Some tough coatings may require more than one stripping.

CAUTION: Surfaces coated with Stripper may be slippery.

APPLICATION

Protect surrounding vegetation. Shake container vigorously. On vertical surfaces, apply from bottom to top. Do not let product dry while it works; keep it wet by adding Stripper.

On horizontal surfaces, using a roller, a paint brush or a plastic garden sprayer, cover surface generously with the Stripper and let it work. Using a plastic brush, check dissolution the progress; when the film is completely dissolved, brush the entire surface to detach the coating completely. Rinse² thoroughly with a water jet; wash splashes immediately.

²For an easier, quicker and more effective rinsing, use a pressure washer (500 to 1,500 lb./sq. in. (3,500 to 10,300 kPa)). In addition, this method allows you to skip scrubbing.
